I've known David Baker for several years now. We first met when my daughter went out to a horse farm in Appling for riding lessons. It was there that I first met Melissa (David's wife), and true to their generous form, they impromptu invited us to come back that evening for their daughter's birthday party ... which we did! And it was awesome!
Over the years past, we lost contact, and I was excited when Melissa reached back out and we all connected again, as David had started his new practice: Interventional And Alternative Spine and Wellness. Congrats on that!
One of the things that I have enjoyed most about getting to know him for this article is just how consistent and determined he is. David doesn't ever draw attention to himself. He's not flashy. He's not about spotlight nor spectacle. He is a great doctor who knows his skills and cares deeply for his patients ... and he simply shows up time and time again for them.
One can tell he is a distance runner by the way that he conserves energy. He's full of life and fun, but as any runner knows, to complete a long-distance marathon, one must not expend any more than what will be needed to win. That's David, for sure. And speaking of running, his marathon time of just over 2:36 (hours/minute) was just about on par with the speed of my first car, a 1967 VW Beetle! As a fellow runner, David is very, very impressive.
He and Melissa both love horses (they have their own farm) as well as dogs. So, we really wanted to make sure both Teddy (Labradoodle) and Philippe (French bulldog puppy) were both included on the photoshoot. They are both "office workers" and add a wonderful sense of love and friendliness for patients who visit the practice.
All in all, I hope you enjoy reading about this fantastic doctor and his amazing staff and wife. And if you want to see a very beautiful office, please take the time to swing by and pay them a visit ... you won't regret it!
I truly hope that all of you enjoy reading this story as much as I did.
