In this our September 2021 Issue, I’m very pleased to share with all of you Emmanuel “Manny” Ngoh, DMD.
I first met Manny about two years ago, at a ribbon-cut- ting event for his new facility on Wheeler Road. I immediately was captivated by his kind disposition and best smile ever! Manny has a way of using his entire body to smile and laugh ... and it’s absolutely infectious.
I’ve wanted him to be a front cover story for quite a while now because his story is very unique and inspiring. I’ve yet to feature someone who’s first job was working on a rice farm in Cameroon ... and who somehow ended up being where his is today! He likes to refer to himself as a “turtle on top of a fence,” who was simply “put there” by God, for a great purpose. I agree with that wholeheartedly, but also know he has put SO much time and effort into his education, craft and community relationships ... that have all gone into him being so loved and respected by peers and patients throughout the CSRA; as well as the world.
Dr Ngoh is also one of the most generous people I’ve met. He is a gift-giver who loves to see other people happy and getting things in life. His office has a room dedicated to gifts, and he has organized golf tournaments to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities and medical groups; as well as dedicates his limited time off to serving others on missions trips. That’s where his love for peanut butter comes from!
All in all, I am so thankful for Manny and know that you will truly see his heart come through, of someone who is a humble servant, and yet also a very talented provider.
