For my March 2019 issue, I was especially honored to highlight a doctor whom I've known for several years now. Shannon is a happy, winsome and inviting personality. She is also highly driven and deeply caring. I would say she contains a wonderful balance of "head and heart." I first met her when she was practicing alongside medical rockstar and recently retired pediatrician, Dr. Alan Getts at Covenant Pediatrics. Since that time however, Shannon has stepped out to be a partner in the founding ABLE Pediatrics.
Though only practicing there a very short time, she and her team have made a name for themselves regarding both the quality and reach of the practice. Her staff are all so very engaging, professional, humble, polite and patient-centered. This says a lot about Dr. Myers' leadership and the type of culture she can build into her team...not to mention, that she also personally models day in and day out.
We had a lot of fun in the interview and some good laughs...she even gave me an eye-roll (or two). All in all, I so much enjoyed sitting down and connecting over her personal story regarding how she got into medicine, how she measures quality care and what her most used emoji is...and I'm equally as excited to share this interview with all of you in the magazine. I'm also thankful to the wonderful Sally Kolar for the photos and for lending her talents to the success of this magazine.
Well, I hope all of you enjoy her story as much as I did. And if you do, feel free to reach out to Shannon at ABLE Pediatrics: https://www.ablepediatrics.com/
